Business Visit (1/15/26): Cain’s Heating and Cooling

Spencer and Karmela Cain welcomed us for a behind-the-scenes look at their business operations. While Spencer was out on an installation, Karmela shared insights from the administrative side of the company. Since opening in 2017, they have experienced rapid growth, which led Karmela to leave her full-time job to support the business full time.

Karmela spoke candidly about learning the ins and outs of both business management and the heating and air industry along the way. She emphasized the value of working with a knowledgeable CPA to help keep the business organized and running smoothly. One ongoing challenge they shared is finding employees who hold the required certifications.
